| Reuben McDonald Brown was born in 1927 and grew up in Opp, Alabama. After high school, he joined the Merchant Marines during World War II. After the war, he worked as a grocery salesman and attended Auburn University, until he was interrupted by the Korean War. He has lived in Daphne, Alabama, for 40 years, where he is married and has two grown children and one grandchild. Brown is retired, after owning and selling several small businesses, and he enjoys playing golf. My Korea is his only book. | |||
